Job Summary
Prepare patient charts and deliver accurate radiation treatments using the TrueBeam linac for malignant tumors. Coordinate patient scheduling and complete the full treatment process under Radiation Oncologist direction. Teach students and present current cases as part of the simulation and treatment duties. Operate the TrueBeam linac and perform dosimetry and brachytherapy procedures per department standards. Work day shift hours Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited Certified Radiation Therapy program
- Board Certified by the ARRT
- RT(T)
- Certified Radiation Therapist
- 2 years or more experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years
- R.T.(T)
- Ability to operate the TrueBeam linac
- Ability to teach students
- Ability to present current case
- Knowledge of Radiology
- Knowledge of Medical Imaging
- Knowledge of Cancer Care
- Knowledge of Radiation Therapy
- Knowledge of RT(T)
- Knowledge of Radiation Therapy & Dosimetry
- Knowledge of Radiation Oncology
- No Experience as a Supervisor
