Job Summary
Assist in localizing tumors, participate in treatment planning, and deliver ionizing radiation therapy while acting as the primary liaison between patients and the radiation team. Ensure patient safety through weekly chart review for quality assurance and train Radiation Therapy students and new staff. This full-time, day-shift role requires weekend work and on-call availability for a comprehensive cancer center. Candidates must hold state certification and three to five years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
- State certification for Medical Radiation Technologist
- Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in all modalities as a radiation therapist
- Three (3) years' experience within a comprehensive cancer center
- Weekend Work Required
- On Call Required
