Job Summary
Lead with purpose in developing implant and catheter designs for aortic disease within Medtronic's CardioVascular Surgery unit. Develop and modify mechanical designs, evaluate interactions with delivery systems, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to enable regulatory-ready solutions. Apply solid-mechanics and mechanical design principles to build first-principle models, develop test strategies, perform data-driven analyses, and drive product reliability. Guide and mentor engineers, conduct root-cause investigations, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Influence new product design, processes, and standards, and communicate findings across internal/external customers and vendors to advance innovative technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience
