Job Summary
The Sr. R&D Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and manufacturability of medical device products, ensuring compliance with quality systems and customer requirements. Responsibilities include designing new devices, developing methodologies and prototypes, participating in idea generation, and testing designs. The role requires strong documentation skills and proficiency in SolidWorks, along with at least 5 years of relevant R&D experience. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of R&D experience
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for solid models and dimensioned drawings
- Good documentation skills
- Strong computer skills and electronic data capture experience
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a start-up environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
