Job Summary
Seeking a Sr. R&D Engineer with extensive experience in biomedical product development within the medical device industry, responsible for leading projects on product design and improvements. Candidates should have mechanical or biomedical engineering qualifications and significant experience.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or other related degree with 8+ years of experience in biomedical research and/or product development
- M.S. in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or other related degree with 6-7 years of experience in biomedical research and/or product development
- Ph.D. in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or other related degree with 3-5 years of experience in biomedical research and/or product development
- Theoretical and experimental background in structural mechanics and/or biomechanics
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping processes for product design and development
- Experience with 3D modeling using CAD software, Solidworks preferred
- Experience with scripting/programming
- Experience with finite element analysis
- Experience in medical device industry
- Experience in orthodontics and/or dental industry
