Sr. Quotations Specialist

Job Summary
Develop proposals, bids, and quotations for current and prospective customers, including complex, high-value inquiries valued at 800k and above. Build and maintain relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales personnel while ensuring Lighting Controls systems comply with project specifications. Negotiate project buyouts with manufacturers and provide timely quotation breakdowns and follow-up plans to generate orders. Collaborate with the SESCO team to finalize all project quotations at least 24 hours prior to bidding, arrange and file supporting bid documents electronically and in hard copy, and maintain ongoing familiarity with the company line card. Assist subordinates as needed while making independent pricing decisions on a heavy schedule of projects.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience required in lighting quotations
- Must possess experience in large project quotations
- Must possess general knowledge of lighting products
- Experience in project buy out required
- Must possess experience submittal creation and review
- Proven track record/ background in electrical systems and Lighting Control systems required
- Must have excellent math skills
- Ability to make independent pricing decisions
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and maintain a very heavy schedule of projects at one time
- Must be proficient on Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook
