Job Summary
Senior Quality Engineer responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting production issues impacting live hiring events, performing manual and automated testing of end-to-end workflows, validating APIs with Postman, and ensuring data integrity with SQL. Collaborates with Product, Engineering, Support, and GTM teams to reproduce, document, and resolve defects, supports architecture changes and new releases, and maintains QA/validation across Agile/Scrum cycles. Emphasis on API testing, backend data validation, regression testing, WCAG accessibility tooling, and end-to-end workflow validation within Capgemini Mexico operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years strong experience with manual testing
- Experience with regression testing
- Hands-on experience using Postman for API testing
- Experience testing REST APIs and validating backend integrations/services
- Strong SQL skills for backend data validation
- Experience documenting defects, test results, and workflow issues within Jira
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with WCAG standards and accessibility tooling
- Ability to design and execute relevant test cases from product requirements
