Job Summary

Perform complex inspections and analyses of incoming, in-process, and finished products using sophisticated laboratory instruments to ensure compliance with RASIRC and customer requirements. Analyze test results against specifications, identify trends and causes of quality deviations using statistical process control, and document findings accurately. Troubleshoot production deviations by collaborating with engineering teams to implement corrective actions and assist with internal audits of facilities and procedures. Maintain equipment calibration, manage non-conforming materials through quarantine and disposition, and mentor junior technicians in quality standards. This full-time on-site role requires US citizenship and offers a salary of $30.00 - $36.00 per year.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • AA or higher
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality control, laboratory environment, or equivalent military experience
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and process optimization techniques
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
  • Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Fast and willing learner and teacher
  • Ability to follow and give instruction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train junior staff
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data and analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to work in environments that require frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • US citizenship or Permanent Resident Certificate (Green Card)

Desired Qualifications

  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean, or related quality improvement methodologies
  • basic knowledge of statistics
  • AA or higher
