Job Summary
Lead associates in testing wires and cables, maintaining equipment calibration, and evaluating statistical data to ensure product quality. Investigate returned products, coordinate corrective actions, and interpret engineering specifications for accurate testing. Interact with customers, suppliers, and auditors for site visits, certifications, and audits. Serve as an internal auditor for facilities, support continuous improvement projects, and assist the Quality lab. Deliver accurate, timely test results while maintaining ISO and Nuclear program compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Wire and Cable
- Experience with Fiber Optic
- Experience with Nuclear
- Experience with Flame testing
- Experience with Electrical and Mechanical testing
- Experience with data analysis and database computer programs
- Ability to use various laboratory testing tools
- Sound technical skills
- Analytical ability
- Good judgment
- Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written with other associates, technicians, engineers, and internal and external customers
- Good attention to details
- Ability to lead projects
- Minimum of 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Quality systems auditing
- Associate degree minimum
