Job Summary

Lead overall quality performance at Heath and Hebron In-Labs by managing the MISTRAS quality management system, Prime approvals, and accreditation maintenance for ISO/IEC 17025 and Nadcap. Drive quality strategies in collaboration with the Director of Quality to ensure policies are effectively implemented and consistently applied across operations. Maintain and extend accreditations, manage A2LA and Nadcap assessments, and respond to regulatory body findings within established timelines. Implement and monitor the electronic quality management system (eQMS), ensuring full usage of available modules and effective training for colleagues. Establish QA/QC programs to reduce poor quality costs and improve compliance, while conducting method, system, and proficiency testing audits. Prioritize activities to meet business and customer needs, ensuring continued fulfillment of expectations through effective reporting and communication with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' Sr. Quality Manager/Quality Manager experience within the Aerospace industry and Nadcap for NDT inspection and materials testing or a related environment (e.g. manufacturing)
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience in participating in quality investigations, undertaking root cause analysis, developing corrective action plans, and ensuring effectiveness of actions undertaken
  • Proven working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and NADCAP requirements in relation to materials testing
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead and drive a quality culture across relevant operations levels from technician to General Manager
  • Proven ability to identify quality and technical issues and collaboratively work with internal stakeholders to determine effective and sustainable solutions

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong, demonstrated knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, RCCA, Lean Six Sigma, and regulatory compliance
  • ASQ CMQ/OE, CQE, and Lead Auditor certifications
  • Demonstrated success leading quality teams, customer audits, supplier quality initiatives, and continuous improvement programs
