Job Summary
Lead quality activities supporting new product development, product improvements, and sustaining engineering initiatives by applying Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools and leading Design and Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis. Develop and execute product validation plans to reduce quality risk, while analyzing warranty and field performance data to prioritize improvements. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to resolve issues using structured problem-solving methods like 8D and DMAIC, and mentor less experienced engineers. This full-time role is based at Delta Faucet Company Corporate Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, with an in-office requirement. Salary ranges from $88,700 to $139,260 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
- Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently
- Working knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and validation testing
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office, and quality management systems
- Experience with supplier quality, auditing, or manufacturing process improvement
- This position is based at the Delta Faucet Company Corporate Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, and requires an in-office presence to support cross-functional collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, structured problem solving, and statistical analysis preferred
