Job Summary
Sr Quality Control Engineer for Concrete Strategies CSI unit. Responsibilities include pre-construction specification and mix-design review, quality control management and compliance across regional projects, coordination with project teams, GC/Owner, and CSI Operations, and leadership of quality staff. Requires extensive concrete construction knowledge, QA/QC oversight, ability to review contracts/specifications, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to develop solutions for quality issues and ensure project quality compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with concrete construction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction management, Engineering or other construction related field recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete production, testing and placement practices
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes (ACI, PCI, TCA)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding
