Job Summary
Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex software systems. Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using RestAssured. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases and drive continuous improvement in QA processes. Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Requires 6–10 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation script development using RestAssured and Java.
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation script development using RestAssured
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java preferable)
- Experience with API testing tools (preferable: REST Assured), postman, ReadyAPI etc.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in domains preferably Airlines domain
