Job Summary
Quality Control Technician responsible for testing concrete and related materials during production; monitor daily concrete production for compliance with industry standards and initiate corrective actions with production and delivery personnel; serve as liaison between production, sales, site engineers, inspectors, and customers; assist in day-to-day laboratory functions (cylinder handling, compression testing, aggregate sampling, and data entry into the QC database); perform job-site testing per QC policies; maintain plant/site appearance and cleanliness in accordance with company policy.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related experience in the concrete industry
- Test, document, and report concrete plastic properties
- Able to effectively communicate, investigate and solve practical problems individually and as part of a team
