Job Summary
SR QC Tech provides hands-on quality control testing of concrete and related materials across production, with responsibilities including monitoring daily production for standards compliance, initiating corrective actions with production and delivery personnel, acting as liaison between production, sales, site engineers, inspectors, and customers, assisting in laboratory functions (cylinder handling, compression testing, aggregate sampling, data entry into QC system), and maintaining plant site appearance and cleanliness. Must communicate effectively, work in a team, and solve practical problems. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package and is based at the Saline, MI plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related experience in the concrete industry
- Test, document, and report concrete plastic properties
- Able to effectively communicate, investigate and solve practical problems individually and as part of a team
