Sr.QA Engineer (CAD)

Job Summary
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and strategies for desktop applications, focusing on complex CAD/BIM workflows and geometry data. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing while collaborating with Product Managers and Developers to validate requirements. Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and support release validation, UAT, and go-live testing. Analyze system performance and scalability for medium to large datasets. Contribute to test automation initiatives and ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices. Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing / QA (BE/BTech in Mechanical or Civil)
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (SDLC, STLC, test design techniques, Black Box Testing, White Box Testing)
- Hands-on experience in testing desktop applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Nice to have experience in CAD domain (e.g., Navisworks, Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Nice to have understanding of geometry, 3D models, and data exchange workflows
- Experience in defect tracking and test management tools
- Contribute to test automation initiatives (good to have)
