Job Summary
Sr. QA Analyst responsibilities include leading QA efforts within agile SCRUM teams, coordinating QA with stakeholders and clients, performing manual and automated testing on web-based applications, leading UAT, developing and maintaining detailed test plans and scripts, extending a JavaScript automation framework, and ensuring high-quality software releases through thorough verification and validation. The role requires collaboration with clients and Scrum teams, experience with LCAP-based applications (ServiceNow, Entellitrak), proficiency with JavaScript and automation tools (Selenium, CodeceptJS, JUnit/TestNG, Postman), and a strong understanding of Agile QA practices. Security clearance and US citizenship are required or highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a QA Analyst
- Experience performing manual and automated QA testing on LCAP (ServiceNow, Tyler Application Platform known as Entellitrak, etc.) based applications
- Experience working in teams and in a team environment that is process-oriented and deadline-driven
- Ability to self-direct while demonstrating strong collaboration and team-oriented motivation; proactive
- Experience working with Atlassian project management and testing tools (JIRA, Confluence, Xray for JIRA, Selenium)
- Agile Scrum software development methodologies
- Ability to work independently under general guidance
- Strong hands-on automation experience, including writing code, developing and maintaining test scripts, debugging and troubleshooting automation failures, and enhancing existing test frameworks.
- Must be able to understand, maintain, and extend established automation frameworks rather than solely authoring tests within a pre-built framework.
- Experience with programming languages, testing frameworks, and automation tools including JavaScript, Java, Postman, SQL, JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, and CodeceptJS.
- Experience testing web-based applications built with technologies such as JavaScript, Java, .NET, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks.
- US Citizenship is required
- Active Public Trust Clearance (Tier 4) is highly preferred
- Location: Fairfax, VA and Hybrid remote work arrangement
