Job Summary

The Sr Purchasing Agent will provide analytical and technical support to the vertical purchasing group, consolidate purchasing information, manage/report on purchasing schedules, and lead bid information collection and distribution. Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, negotiating pricing, and maintaining positive relationships with trade associates. Candidates should have at least seven years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED. Strong skills in communication, organization, and computer use are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Seven (7) years of experience with purchasing support role preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must have strong computer skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must possess professional attitude to represent company in a positive manner
