SR. PROPOSAL ENGINEER

Job Summary
Lead standardization efforts for proposals and tools across designated products and services using project management methodology. Manage stakeholders on winning opportunities and influence the sales team to filter IO/OT projects, achieving win rate targets. Assess bids, estimate risks and costs, generate and approve proposals, and transfer orders through internal processes. Prepare technical and commercial offers, solution presentations, and responses to customer inquiries while incorporating the full portfolio of Rockwell Automation offerings. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and global proposal teams to develop marketing collaterals and transfer industry application knowledge. Work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in a hybrid role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical related field or equivalent relevant professional experience
- 5+ years' experience as an estimator, proposal engineer or other contract, project or application engineering-focused position, related experience in a project-oriented environment
- Good English writing and speaking skills
- Ability to align and influence critical stakeholders
- Rockwell Automation hybrid policy: expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
Desired Qualifications
- High level of knowledge in PLC, DCS, Standard Drive, Networks, Industry knowledge, Application Knowledge
- Passionate about developing goals to improve our customer experience
- Vertical experience in Chemical & Semi industry
