Job Summary
Sr. Project Manager to lead and manage complex construction and engineering projects from planning through commissioning and closeout. Primary point of coordination between clients, contractors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality, safety, and regulatory expectations. Travel to client sites may be required up to 100%. Responsibilities include reviewing submissions (A&E, MEP, structural), handling RFIs and submittals, managing start-up and close-out, maintaining project documentation, TOCC, using ProCore/E-Builder/Prolog, developing schedules in MS Project, leading daily planning meetings, site walks, preparing daily reports, reviewing safety documentation, coordinating contractors, overseeing commissioning of building systems, and developing executive-level communications and KPIs. Requirements include a 4-year engineering degree (mechanical/chemical/electrical) or related field, 8–14 years PM/PE experience in related industries, ability to travel, and strong MS Project/PM software proficiency. The role offers a total rewards program with remote work options for most positions and multiple office locations including Greater Boston, San Diego, Boulder, and India; salary range $150k-$170k; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
- PMP certification is a plus
- 8–14 years of experience as a project engineer or project manager
- Experience managing major capital projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
- Experience supervising and coordinating contractors across multiple disciplines
- Experience executing projects within active operating facilities
- Experience with commissioning and turnover of building systems such as HVAC, emergency power, UPS, lab gases, RODI water, boilers, and steam systems
- Experience leading daily planning meetings and documenting project activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and construction management software
