Sr. Project Manager- Mission Critical

Job Summary
Manage highly complex, large-scale data center and mission critical projects valued at $150M–$250M+, serving as the senior operational leader from preconstruction through closeout. Own the operational plan, budget, forecast, and risk matrix while acting as a trusted advisor to the Business Unit Lead on new revenue pursuits and long-range strategy. Recruit and oversee contract staff and internal teams, mentor project managers and engineers to build bench strength, and enforce a comprehensive Quality Control and Last Planner System across the portfolio. Lead executive-level negotiations for cost overruns, drive continuous improvement activities, and champion safety as a non-negotiable standard while influencing EH&S programs enterprise-wide.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management with a general contractor, including demonstrated advancement into senior leadership responsibility
- 10+ years of experience leading and managing the build process for data center and mission critical projects, including direct oversight of multiple concurrent large-scale projects ($100M+ each)
- Demonstrated success managing complex, high-value project portfolios and P&L responsibility at scale
- Proven experience mentoring, developing, and building capability within project management teams
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling or stretching
- Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is combination of standing, walking, and sitting
- Legs: Must be able to climb stairs
- Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use
- Vision: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination
- Hearing: Sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and radio; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment
- Speech: Sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio
- Lift/Carry: Up to 40lbs
- Bending/Twisting: Minimal
- Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Minimal
- May require travel
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
