Job Summary
Senior Project Manager leads the full lifecycle of mechanical construction projects (HVAC, piping, plumbing) for commercial/industrial clients, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget. Responsibilities include developing and managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating with preconstruction, engineering, and field operations, overseeing subcontractors and procurement, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, managing RFIs and change orders, and leading client and general contractor progress meetings. Requires 7+ years of PM experience in mechanical construction, a strong background in commercial/industrial systems, and proficiency with Procore/ACC; office-based in Lenexa/Overland Park area with in-person collaboration emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in construction management, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction (HVAC, piping, plumbing)
- Proficiency with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar platforms
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects from preconstruction through closeout
