Sr. Project Manager I - Transportation Engineering

Job Summary
Manage all assigned transportation engineering projects, including roads, highways, and stormwater conveyance, by developing scope, schedules, and cost estimates. Direct production of deliverables such as preliminary studies, designs, and specifications while overseeing quality and resource allocation. Coordinate client interactions, negotiate contracts, and conduct regular progress reviews to ensure schedule and profitability goals are met. Execute internal setup procedures, manage accounts receivable, and perform project closeouts with internal evaluations. Maintain professional licensure, stay abreast of engineering trends, and foster team communication while adhering to company standards and administrative requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in civil, structural, mechanical/electrical or architectural engineering as appropriate or equivalent in combined education and experience in the field of practice
- 12+ years' experience in engineering specializing in projects in practice area with increasing responsibility
- P.E. licensure required
- Must be able to obtain licensure in the states in which the company does business
- Valid driver's license with good driving record required
- Must be able to travel in-state and out-of-state
- Must be available for travel 25%+ of the year
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
