Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee concept design, estimating, purchasing, drafting, fabrication, and installation for diverse exhibit and event environments. Interface with customers, internal departments, and outside vendors to manage project scopes from proposal through invoicing. Author project management paperwork including estimates, labor projections, and show site I&D packets while tracking cost-to-revenue ratios and vendor payments. Manage asset inspection, property prep, and communication with installation teams, requiring some travel for onsite supervision. Work in-person at the Philadelphia headquarters within a sales team structure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or similar equivalent experience
- 5+ years managing custom built exhibits and events from idea inception to completion and implementation
- Comprehensive knowledge of planning systems, scheduling techniques, process management, workflow and team coordination / negotiation / conflict management
- Proficiency in project pricing, purchasing and vendor negotiations
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to work with diverse personalities in sales, design, engineering, production, distribution and construction while managing costs, time requirements and customer expectations
- The ability to read blueprints and a working knowledge of architectural millwork
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Willingness/Capability to travel for site installations
- Experience in estimating construction build items and site services including labor, lighting, rigging, electrical
- Some travel required as position may require supervision of assets and customer onsite
Desired Qualifications
- PMP certification or similar coursework preferred
