Job Summary
Manage project costs through estimating, progress budgeting, change order pricing, and monthly forecasting. Supervise total construction efforts by coordinating scheduling, engineering, material control, and directing onsite administrative staff. Interface with general contractors, subcontractors, and foremen to ensure projects meet standards, budget, and schedule. Initiate extra work estimating, negotiate change order pricing, and review submitted changes for scope accuracy. Investigate potential project impacts, mitigate risks, and correct safety-related incidents while enforcing company safety initiatives. This role requires a valid driver's license and is essential for driving the Everus 4EVER Strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
- Four years construction management, estimating, and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule
- Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Supervisory skills
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods)
- Knowledge of craft agreements
- Knowledge of jurisdiction
