Job Summary
Manage client expectations, provide project leadership, and ensure document control while developing budgets, preparing cost proposals, and maintaining buy-out processes. Perform project accounting tasks including Owner billings and subcontractor payment reviews, oversee subcontractors for coordination and procurement, and manage CPM schedules. Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, and field personnel to deliver quality construction in school and higher education markets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in commercial and/or public works construction, managing multiple projects or a single large, complex project
- Strong understanding of current construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities and teams efficiently
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project or other scheduling software
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, or other industry-related programs preferred
- Experience on projects within larger school bond programs (e.g., SDUSD, LAUSD)
- Experience using Procore project management software
- Experience in Higher Education and Healthcare market sectors preferred
