Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and prepare detailed cost estimates for site development projects involving earthwork, utilities, and paving. Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Estimators on issuing RFPs, performing quantity take-offs, and reviewing subcontractor pricing. Manage full project execution by leading regular meetings, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining job cost tracking with monthly financial forecasts. Oversee pay applications, change orders, and RFIs while resolving project issues to ensure successful delivery. This role requires managing infrastructure, utilities, and full-scope site development projects within active construction environments, with occasional overtime as deadlines demand.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience managing site development projects
- In-depth technical knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and paving
- Proven career stability and long-term commitment in previous roles
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate active construction environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with asphalt work is a plus
- Experience with Job Order Contracting is a strong plus
