Job Summary
Sr. Project Manager serves as the overall Project Leader for the jobs in which they are involved, handling project setup, contract execution, safety compliance, cost reporting, scheduling, procurement, change orders, manpower coordination, and mentoring of Project Engineers. Requires 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineering recommended. Key competencies include strong communication, budgeting, critical-path scheduling, problem-solving, leadership, and the ability to coordinate with GC/Owner while maintaining schedules and quality. Must be able to walk job sites and access multi-floor scaffolding.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction management or Engineer recommended
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
- Project set up, budget planning, buy out, and cost reporting experience is a must
- Good understanding of critical path scheduling
- Experience leading successful project team, including development of employee and maintaining relationships with external entities
- Energetic and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding
