Job Summary
Sr. Project Manager leading commercial construction efforts in Seattle, overseeing office and field teams on projects ranging from $5M to $20M+, mentoring PMs and foremen, and driving operational strategy to improve efficiency, profitability, and client relationships. Responsibilities include directing project activities to meet financial targets, developing accurate cost and labor estimates from plans, reviewing contracts and bid documents, tracking progress and budgets with monthly updates, identifying cost-saving and quality-enhancing initiatives, maximizing productivity, resolving issues on job sites, and building scalable PM processes. Requirements include 5+ years in commercial construction management (drywall/metal framing a plus), a BA/BS in Construction Management or equivalent, proficiency with MS Office, estimating software, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and MS Project, strong leadership and client-relations skills, ability to work under pressure, and capability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing commercial construction projects (drywall and metal framing is a plus)
- BA or BS in Construction Management or equivalent experience
- Ability to operate MS Office Suite, estimating software, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, MS Project
- Demonstrated ability to create new and build upon existing client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and prioritize and multi-task while managing all aspects of current projects and estimating of future ones
- Ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers
- Experience in senior leadership in construction
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance
- Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen including marijuana, in accordance with Federal contracting laws
