Sr Project Executive - Federal Construction (100% Travel)

Job Summary
Lead multiple project teams simultaneously on complex federal construction projects, assuming overall accountability for jobsite safety, contract requirements, and financial forecasts. Direct and supervise project administration, superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities, manage schedule risks, and ensure compliance with insurance and bonds. Negotiate contract aspects, lead risk mitigation strategies, and drive BIM/VDC coordination efforts while performing constructability and design reviews. Provide leadership in motivating the project team, manage builder's risk events, and track REA and claim progress across the business unit. Function as a project executive on at least one site with weekly travel, partnering with business development to optimize profit levers and strengthen client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 12-18+ years of experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Leadership and management skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
