Job Summary
Senior-level engineering program-management role leading global project control activities and defining common global processes for projects. Responsibilities include developing scope of work, planning schedules, monitoring engineering activities for customer projects, and providing technical leadership while interfacing with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GE Product Engineering, Sourcing, and subcontractors. Develop specialized knowledge in the discipline, act as a best-practice/quality resource, contribute to strategy and policy, apply advanced technical expertise to support recommendations, and lead small projects with moderate risk. Requires significant experience in engineering/technology and a strong ability to lead programs/projects, communicate effectively, and drive cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (USA) or a high school diploma with relevant experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
