Job Summary
Sr. Project Engineer role leading development and implementation of innovative assembly processes, defining project requirements, building detailed specifications, conducting line balancing, analyzing labor requirements and time studies, mapping process flows to optimize production, improving material handling, providing production support for project implementation, and developing conceptual design sketches (3D modeling handled by internal/external resources). Relocation package offered to Winchester, VA. Corporate role focused on process improvement rather than mechanical design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing new processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles a plus
