Sr. Project Engineer

Job Summary
Lead engineering tasks overseeing the construction of large-scale infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding $100 million. Coordinate communications among project stakeholders, evaluate technical data, and review compliance with specifications. Develop operational plans for construction management and ensure project activities are on schedule. Manage subcontractor negotiations, conduct cost analyses, and oversee quality assurance inspections. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years’ experience in civil infrastructure engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or a closely related field
- Demonstrated experience with Cast-In-Place (CIP) concrete walls
- Working knowledge of FDOT standards, specifications, and quality control requirements
- Prior experience on FDOT roadway or bridge projects
- Minimum (3) years of experience working in civil infrastructure project engineering or construction management on projects valued at over $50 million
- Experience negotiating and managing subcontractor contracts and change orders
- Experience in cost estimation and financial analysis on construction projects
- Experience using construction project management software (Procore, Primavera or similar software)
- Experience coordinating responses to Requests for Information
