Job Summary
Execute project management plans, including scope, procurement, time, financial, quality, safety, and risk strategies to ensure successful project execution. Develop procurement schedules integrated with CPM schedules, coordinate submittals, and review all documents for contract compliance. Administer budgeting and cost control processes while maintaining "As-built" contract documents, operation manuals, and warranties. Participate in concrete form design, takeoffs for concrete and utilities, and supervise field engineers. Prepare change orders, cost adjustments, and meeting minutes; prevent and resolve claims by quantifying and mitigating their effects. Maintain quantity reporting mechanisms and project logs while adhering to all safety standards and physical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- An advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.
- In-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units
- Four-year construction-related degree
- Equivalent technical training
- Related experience
- Minimum of three to four years of similar construction engineering experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines
- Skill/ability to supervise and/or train Field Engineer positions if so required
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- Ability to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
- Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis
- Ability to sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday
