Job Summary

Oversee and execute project controls and management for a multiple discipline EPC project, including direct support for installed quantity monitoring, contract administration, project planning, scheduling, procurement, and reporting. Represent the company professionally in all client interactions, champion the corporate safety plan, and lead site-specific safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and training. Direct field engineers to gather data, manage subcontractor operations, and supervise a crew of up to 100 people as needed. Create quantity calculation formulas, develop work plans, and maintain the master project schedule while driving planning processes through manpower curves. Administer accounting updates, manage cost forecasting, establish cashflow forecasts, and generate change orders and as-built data. Travel up to 90% of the time for 8-18 months per project, with an average base salary of $130,000-$160,000.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related
  • 7 plus years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
  • Knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
  • Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
  • Willing to travel extensively and relocate to the next project location for an extended period (typically 6-12 months)
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
  • Must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
  • Must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights

  • Must be able to Direct Field Engineers to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the customer, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use
  • Must be able to Review field issued purchase orders and subcontracts, prepare material buyout take offs from issued for construction drawings
  • Must be able to Direct home office performed procurement and subcontract administration functions
  • Must be able to Provide field support and supervise subcontractor operations
  • Must be able to Manage all project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, requests for information (RFIs), submittal, transmittal, memorandums, and other contract required correspondence
