Sr. Project Engineer - Construction

Job Summary
Oversee and execute project controls and management for a multi-discipline EPC project, including direct support for installed quantity monitoring, contract administration, procurement, and project reporting. Represent the company professionally in all client interactions, provide required contract reports, and manage the compilation of daily labor timesheets and project recordkeeping. Lead field engineers, supervise subcontractor operations, and direct material takeoffs and purchase order reviews. Create and monitor master project schedules, drive planning processes through manpower curves, and administer job costs, work in progress updates, and cashflow forecasts. Champion corporate safety plans, lead site safety reviews and toolbox meetings, and ensure quality documentation is completed for final turnover.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related
- 7 plus years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
- Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
- Willing to travel extensively and relocate to the next project location for an extended period (typically 6-12 months.)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- Must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
- Must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights
