Sr. Project Engineer - Construction

Job Summary
Oversee and execute project controls and management for a multiple discipline EPC project, including direct support for installed quantity monitoring, contract administration, and project reporting. Champion corporate and site-specific safety plans, lead jobsite safety reviews, and train personnel on Job Safety Analysis. Create quantity calculation formulas, develop work plans, and manage material takeoffs and procurement status reports. Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups while directing field engineers to gather data for submittals. Administer accounting updates, manage cost forecasting, and generate change orders and as-built data. Act as the primary company representative, review purchase orders, and mentor a team of field engineers and office staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related
- 7 plus years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
- Knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
- Willing to travel extensively and relocate to the next project location for an extended period (typically 6-12 months)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- Must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
- Must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights
