Sr. Project Engineer - Construction

Job Summary
Oversee and execute project controls and management for a multiple discipline EPC project, interfacing with clients, engineering teams, subcontractors, and vendors to drive strategic communication. Direct field operations by supervising a team of Field Engineers and up to 100 crew members, while managing procurement, scheduling, and material takeoffs to ensure on-time completion. Champion corporate and site-specific safety plans, lead daily toolbox meetings, and conduct rigorous safety reviews to maintain zero-harm standards across varying environmental conditions. This role requires extensive travel, with up to 90% of time spent on project sites throughout the U.S. for an average of 8-18 months per project. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management and over seven years of relevant experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related
- 7 plus years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
- Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
- Willing to travel extensively and relocate to the next project location for an extended period (typically 6-12 months.)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- Must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
- Must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights
