Sr. Project Engineer - Construction

Job Summary
Oversee project controls and management for a multi-discipline EPC project, including direct support for installed quantity monitoring, contract administration, project planning, and scheduling. Create and monitor master schedules, drive planning through manpower curves, and generate change orders and as-built data. Manage procurement, track material deliveries, and administer accounting updates, work in progress, and cashflow forecasts. Lead field engineers, supervise subcontractor operations, and represent the company as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and governmental agencies. Champion safety initiatives by leading toolbox meetings, reviewing job safety analyses, and developing site-specific safety plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related
- 7 plus years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
- Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
- Willing to travel extensively and relocate to the next project location for an extended period (typically 6-12 months.)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- Must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
- Must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights
