Sr. Project Engineer - Construction

Job Summary
Oversee project controls and management for a multi-discipline EPC project, including contract administration, procurement, and reporting. Direct field engineers to perform material takeoffs, review purchase orders, and manage subcontractor operations while leading site safety reviews and toolbox meetings. Create quantity calculation formulas, master project schedules, and cost forecasts to track labor, materials, and equipment trends. Coordinate work groups, generate change orders, and ensure all inspections and quality documentation are completed for final turnover. Manage daily labor timesheets, RFIs, and transmittals as the primary company representative in the absence of the Project Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related
- 7 plus years' experience as a Field Engineer or similar role
- Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations
- Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
- Willing to travel extensively and relocate to the next project location for an extended period (typically 6-12 months.)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to- safety toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
- Must be able to abide by all safety and fall-protection requirements
- Must be able to wear and utilize all safety equipment required for work at heights
