Job Summary
Write, review, and manage requirements in a requirements management tool for BEV powertrain and energy management systems. Review supplier specifications to guide internal teams on integrating control modules, and ensure traceability of requirements and validation results. Review test cases and guide the vehicle verification and validation team for proper execution, while supporting system-level safety analysis with the functional safety team. Plan and coordinate configurations for various modules with suppliers, document incidents, and generate tickets to address requirements, testing, or configuration issues. Bring open issues to proper closure and own the systems engineering requirements and test cases associated with Oshkosh Delivery vehicle product lines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, software or comparable
- 8+ years of experience in automotive field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in requirements management for systems engineering
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience working with CAN communication and protocols
- J1772 experience, DC charge/digital communication
- Occasional travel to support vehicle testing, program milestones, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Travel frequency will vary based on project needs and employee location
- Master's Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, software or comparable
- Expert knowledge of DOORS Next Gen or Jama requirements management tools
- Expert knowledge of tools such as Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, PEAK PCAN, Kvaser CANKing for diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Experience with large OEM process and procedures
