Job Summary
Lead digital strategy for large projects by partnering with leadership, clients, and consultants to define and execute project-specific BIM, VDC, data management, and technology integration strategies from pursuit through delivery. Own and develop contractual/digital deliverables (e.g., BIM Execution Plans); identify and manage digital requirements including BIM strategies, data exchange, and digitally enabled workflows. Establish and oversee model management frameworks for large programs, lead digital coordination meetings (BIM/GIS coordination, clash detection, design reviews), manage software lifecycle and interoperability, onboard project teams to digital standards, collaborate with Design Technology to scale best practices, mentor teams in firm tools and workflows, identify tool gaps and propose enhancements, pilot new digital tools, manage access and licenses, and support multi-office digital collaboration with travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the digital realm of the A/E/C industry with understanding of project phases from design through construction/close out
- Experience in BIM management, VDC coordination for large programs or projects
- Experience training others in the design, delivery, and use of BIM
- Strong leadership, client engagement capabilities
- Knowledge of design software and comfort with new technology testing and adoption
- Proficiency with model authoring tools like Revit, analysis tools like Insight 360, Dynamo, review tools like Navisworks, Bluebeam, Revizto, Enscape; knowledge of Revit API preferred
