Job Summary
Sr. Project Coordinator responsible for coordinating and documenting construction health-and-safety activities across multiple projects. Facilitates pre-construction planning, maintains schedules and safety documentation, reviews contractor safety plans and hazard analyses, conducts site walks, analyzes safety metrics, supports incident investigations, and assists with contract administration and project controls. Works closely with project managers, field safety professionals, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, efficient execution, and data-driven safety improvements; requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a project coordinator or in a similar coordination/administrative role
- Experience supporting construction project delivery or working in a construction-related environment preferred
- Working knowledge of safety and environmental principles, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to identify potential safety exposures and support implementation of corrective actions
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management or safety software is a plus
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal oversight
- Ability to follow established procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and support compliance efforts
