Job Summary
Establish and maintain a centralized project controls function for the Pinto Valley Engineering Projects Group, overseeing cost reporting, forecast consolidation, accrual management, and department-level cash flow projections. Maintain monthly project cost reports, review actual realized costs, and develop a portfolio level Master Project Schedule with Executive and Coordination schedules. Perform variance analysis, determine resource conflicts, and present findings to Senior Leadership while ensuring compliance with MSHA safety regulations and mine policies. Utilize advanced Excel, Power Bi, and SAP to standardize inputs and enable proactive decision-making for the capital projects portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or related years of experience
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, project controls, cost engineering, project planning or related field
- Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English
- Knowledge and demonstrated expertise in the management of schedules and budgets
- Project Scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Advanced Excel
- Power Bi
- Strong reporting and dashboard development capabilities
- SAP experience or demonstrate ability to learn and use SAP
- All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol test, and background check
- All positions require a pre-placement physical examination to ensure candidates are 'fit for duty'
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years supporting multi-project or program-level portfolios
- Demonstrated experience working with capital projects in industrial, infrastructure, mining or other heavy construction environments
