Job Summary
Senior Project Architect for healthcare facilities in New York. Responsible for managing projects from conception through construction, ensuring design intent established by the Sr. Project Designer is realized in detailed documentation; coordinating with disciplines and consultants; supervising staff producing documents; implementing Construction Phase Services with the PM; securing QA reviews and incorporating comments; signing and sealing drawings; leading the creation of specifications and BIM data organization; setting project/document strategy, monitoring design processes, and maintaining quality assurance. Leads collaboration with Project Leadership Team, mentors junior staff, supports sustainable design, manages client communications, prepares progress reports, coordinates approvals with municipal authorities, and participates in budget and schedule reviews. Requires a licensed architect with current registration, extensive healthcare design experience, and the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams; NCARB and LEED credentials preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience
- 20 plus years’ design experience, including multiple large-scale healthcare projects in the US.
- Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required.
- NCARB registration preferred.
- LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
