Job Summary
Senior Project Accountant in the AEC sector responsible for project setup, budgets, financial performance, advanced billing, revenue recognition, and WIP/job-cost management. Partners with Project Managers, Principals, and leadership to provide high-level oversight across multiple projects or portfolios; supports contract, change-order, and financial risk management; may supervise junior project accounting work. Requires experience with Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision/Ajera; Sage 300 CRE/Sage Timberline/Viewpoint Vista or Spectrum/CMiC; and Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas; Power Query a plus). Ideal backgrounds include senior-level project accounting within AEC environments with the ability to manage complex projects with minimal oversight and strong communication with leadership.
