Job Summary
Develop and maintain the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Plan, ensuring accurate network logic and critical path analysis. Lead creation of compliant Integrated Master Schedules that integrate cost, schedule, and technical requirements while adhering to IPDS directives. Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis, interpret results, and integrate mitigation plans into the schedule and risk management process. Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics, including baseline maintenance and earned value analysis, to program teams. Mentor junior planners and drive process improvements to ensure IMS integrity. This onsite role supports the Program Design & Planning organization at RTX, a global aerospace and defense leader, within a classified facility in Tewksbury, MA.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- minimum of 8 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience
- Advance Degree in a related field
- minimum of 5 years' experience
- Prior work experience using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules
- Prior work experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Prior work experience evaluating critical path
- Prior work experience with workflow
- Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Prior work experience with similar business process
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate the effective integration and maintenance in the IMS of technical, schedule and cost in an EVMS environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand the program technical and programmatic solution and lead integration and modelling of that solution into the IMS
- Demonstrated ability to interpret/analyze SRA results, program schedule risk/opportunity drivers and schedule probability of success
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Planning and functional organization SMEs to support their program teams
- Understanding of hardware and software development life cycle
- exposure to agile methodologies
- Demonstrate the ability to manage/lead/teach and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques, principles for project personnel or teams of varying size and backgrounds
- Demonstrate the ability to understand different perspectives and ask right questions ensuring IMS integrity
- Be able to identify and drive process improvement
- ability to work with the team to develop solutions and solve problems
