Job Summary
Develop and maintain the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule using MS Project and Milestones Professional Software. Perform detailed analysis of critical paths, schedule variances, and "what-if" exercises to ensure compliance with government customer requirements and realistic contract baselines. Manage resource loading, target budgets, and Earned Value Management processes while communicating schedule status to the Planning Lead, Program Manager, and senior management. Support the development of IMS coding structures and adherence to department scheduling best practices. This onsite role at RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, requires a Secret clearance and five years of program planning experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience (with Advanced Degree)
- Experience using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules
- Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Experience evaluating critical path
- Experience with workflow
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM
- Experience analyzing schedule data including driving paths, schedule metrics and trends, and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated understanding of product development principles including Agile Software development
- Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with any of the following: Achieving Process Excellence (APEX)
- Familiarity with SAP/R3
- Familiarity with Microframe Project Manager (MPM)
- Familiarity with similar EVMS tools and software applications such as Oracle ERP, Deltek Cobra and Deltek MPM Connect
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
