SR PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Summary
Direct program start-up by providing estimates and manufacturing feasibility to sales, developing schedules, and assigning personnel to technical studies, design, and prototype builds. Lead feasibility meetings, coordinate die development and quality planning, and control expenditures within project budgets. Conduct product design, equipment design, and gate reviews to ensure drawing issuance and mass production readiness. Present program status to executives for capital approvals and MP readiness while managing cost follow-up and resolving delays. Stop production to correct quality issues and ensure conformity to product requirements. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with 7 or 5 years of experience, 50% travel, and ability to work in a professional office and manufacturing floor environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 7 years of relevant experience
- Master's Degree
- 5 years of related experience
- Computer skills utilizing Microsoft office tools, including project and planner
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the time
- Ability to calculate figures and use advanced mathematical skills
- Proven ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
