Job Summary
Senior Program Manager for Cost Excellence in Medtronic's Contract Manufacturing portfolio. Lead ideation and implementation of material cost-savings initiatives, prioritizing a pipeline to support $300M in annual reductions. Drive cost-management strategies using supplier bid analysis, make-vs-buy, and analytics (Power BI, Planisware). Shape and deploy Lean-based process improvements across cross-functional teams, track KPIs, and develop robust business cases. Present updates to senior leadership during monthly reviews and collaborate with Category Management, Supplier Optimization, VAVE, and other organizations to generate and implement programmatic savings opportunities. Roles emphasize leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making across a large medical device manufacturing footprint.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years strategic business or sourcing support experience, or a master's degree with 5 years of strategic business or sourcing support experience.
